Arlington Addition

This two-story addition provided the client with added functionality to meet the needs of their growing family. The result gave them a mudroom and bathroom on the ground floor and an additional bedroom upstairs. We finished the bathroom with striking black and white wallpaper contrasted by white wainscotting, white subway tiles in the shower, and white trim. The floor features earthy-toned hex tiles with a smaller mosaic version in the glass-enclosed shower. Brass fixtures complete the picture, with coral window treatments and towels.

The mudroom extended the bathroom’s color scheme, using the same hex tiles on the floor and adding a storage bench with a pop of coral on the cushion.

Upstairs, the child’s bedroom featured a watercolor peony-patterned wallpaper as a focal point, with mint-green walls, white trim on windows and baseboards, and pastel pink window treatments.
